Last and Final Hour of Cebu Seo Contest

It’s several hours to go before the declaration of the winner of the Cebu Seo Contest. It seems that the position is already stable but you can still see more activity in indexes for the said key phrase. Imagine this morning the total count of indexed pages reach up to 142K from 30K last night. Wow what happen I’ve said to myself. What did the other Cebu Seo Contest entrants do to make this kind of number of entries in just a couple of hours? Whew, I thought I will be overtaken by this entrants. These are the top competitors as of this time and I hope this will be the final list for today. Google’s indexes sometimes changes in just a glimpse of an eye and we can’t be sure so I am just waiting and watching.

Busby Winners

Busby SEO Challenge by Busby Web Solutions has concluded yesterday and it was dominated by Indonesians. Here are the top 3 winners of the said competition:

1. IMFREAKZ - From Indonesia, wil receive $5,000
2. SPHERETEAM - From France will receive $2,000
3. POGUN177 - From Indonesia and will receive $500

This shows that ASIA is really dominating the world wide SEO competition. Me, I only won an iPod Touch as a consolation prize for the “MOST INVITES” and I thank Busby Web Solutions. I hope that there’s a second version of this competition for this year. On the other hand for the most creative and funny entries for an iPod Touch entry, this Monday will be the day to judge the contestants. I think I am not qualified for it because I am already a winner of an iPod. Regarding the Cebu Seo Contest today, I think I can’t win this competition because all of my entries are dropping dramatically. Search engines are really hard to please nowadays, very demanding with time and non-stop optimization. Cebu Seo Contest I’ll try to focus on you this last week of the competition!

Cebu Seo Contest, SEO and Wordpress.com

Cebu Seo Contest is a small competition but the SEO lessons the entrants are learning is so great that it is still a good way of improving the skills of particpants. The participants of this contests are becoming more agressive each day. Giving a large blows of links to their Cebu Seo Contest entry. In my case I have learned something about using Wordpress for search engine optimization. I have learned that Wordpress.com is a good way in increasing an immediate rank or immediate indexing of your website. The problem is that if one of your Cebu Seo Contest opponents or other SEO contest opponents(or even the WP admin) report your WP blog as spam and used for SEO or seach engine marketing, that will be the end of your “good SE days”. WP will surely suspend your site and will surely ban it, destroying every single post you make to improve the rankings of your targetted keywords or key phrase.

My advice is that you avoid using WP.com for SEO or use it at your own risk of losing all the efforts that you made. Wordpress.com is good for blogging only and if you forgot to read their TOS then I’m afraid that you might have a possibility of blog close down later. Regarding my Cebu Seo Contest entries, luckily that my number one “bet” which is the entry on my .COM, started to ranked after being invisible for almost two weeks I hope that it become consistent with its rise. I am helping it right now with this SEO in Asia blog.
