SEO Specialists from Asia Dominating SEO Services and Competitions

The recent conclusion on the world wide SEO competition where an Asian candidate successfully grab the three spot of the contest is one of the proof of the dominance in SEO competition and even on services. This competition is intend to test the skills of the participant in the field of search engine optimization, applying different techniques that fits to the latest algorithm of the search engine. SEO changes and through this SEO contest, different concepts were discovered and theories formulated. Currently there’s a competition that is currently running online. Another is the sulumits retsambew which is several months of competition and the latest announcement was the eriuqs spires healthy recreation which is recently anounced last April 14, 2009.

This competition is both opportunity for beginning search engine optimziers to learn the craft and the chance for other to put their theories and techniques into application to see the results of their theories and tactics. Currently the mentioned world wide competition is also participated by a lot of specialists of different SEO asians.

SEOService.i.ph Back on Track

After a month that Google resets the PR of this site to N/A and loosing its grounds on the search engines for its target keywords, it goes back to its track. That’s right, despite the PR got lower than its previous PR which is PR3, I am happy that it little by little indexed again by Google. It seems that theirs a glitch with the algorithm of crawling system of Google on the previous days and a lot of sites where affected. Well, this is just a theory!

Now, what’s my plan with the next coming months? Well, I am planning to organize a SEO competition which I will announce later here but will be hosted on a separate website which I will post the URL here later after the official announcement of the game. Actually there’s a local competition here in our place called “Hectic Capiznon Bloggers 2009” but I will make sure that my event that I will start will not conflict to this competition. Later, more updates on SEO Asia and the whole world in the hands of the search engines.

SEO Contest Everywhere

As the international SEO competition concluded successfully already, different local SEO competition started this month. Indonesia, under Pogung’s initiative, already started their local competition. In our province, the pioneer in SEO industry also announced a provincial competition. It is an interschool SEO contest involving teachers and students from different colleges in Capiz. The target key phrase in Google is “Hectic Capiznon Bloggers 2009.”  Don’t ask me what’s the meaning of this phrase or its significance to the Capiz blogging comunity, I honestly don’t know. What I know is the purpose involved and the mission and vision stated by the challenge. I am joining it but I don’t think I can handle the regular SEO activity for it since majority of my time are focused on my project.

However, the pressure is still there, since I am working in a school / college and since it is an interschool, I feel I am obliged to win. I don’t know how I could manage to do this but I will try it on my free time. What can I do now is I am planning to support entries from my school so that my collegues and students win this skills competition in the world of search engine optimization. Asia is really one of the greatest source skillful SEO practitioners in the world. It is shown during the world cup, it is because the top winners are from countries of Asia. These different SEO contests only shows that SEO community in Asia are really active to this kind of industry.

Srednarb SEO Experiments

One of the competition that is currently happening in the country is the “promotional items corporate gifts srednarb” key phrase contest. It is a local SEO effort produced and hosted by a fellow optimizer in our place. It is quite different compared to other competitions that I have participated in my SEO life. It is because the search engines involve is not only one data center (compared to Busby SEO Test that uses only the Google U.S. Data Center) but three major search engines namely, Google, Yahoo and Live/MSN. It quite difficult since you need to fine tune the optimization process to this different search engines that uses different ranking algorithms. A fellow participant actually mentioned that this will be a difficult to handle since each search engines have opposite reactions to every SEO activities that you have done. 

Currently, I have seen what they mean because I have seen that one of my entry for the promotional items corporate gifts srednarb rank high in Google but seen lower on Yahoo and Live. While the other entry got a higher position in Yahoo and Live but not that good in Google. Well a lot fine tuning are really needed to make the entries very delectable to both “worlds” of search engines. Different breed of Spiders really have various taste in dealing websites! What I am doing right now is I am conducting a little experiment and will try to make all of my entries very tasty to all the mentioned 3 spiders. I will use all necessary “bait” that I need to make them crawled with delight. Well if this little SEO experiment will become successful, I will make the posts of the steps or processes that I have  I used to fine tune the sites. I hope that I could make my sites rank high after this experiment.

BleuKen won Cebu Seo Contest

Bleuken won the recently concluded Cebu Seo Contest. He bagged two of the prizes, 1st and 2nd prize plus the free 1 year domain registration and web hosting. Currently he is running a new mini-SEO Contest called “captivating Capiz”. The purpose of this contest is to promote the province of Capiz to the world plus helping the new online portal of Philippines Blood Registry on its vision to help Filipinos in searching fresh bloods when needed. UKWW SEO Contest 2008 version 2.0 Cancelled

It is almost a month since the kabonfootprint SEO contest was announced by UKWW and many of the participants did spend a  lot such as buying a new domain, getting a new web hosting, buying back links and paying to link directories. This cause them a lot of effort, money, time and other resources spent. The other week, UKWW SEO Contest organizer announced that their sponsors all backed-out making the participants very disappointed. In organizing or conduction a world wide competition like this, organizers should make sure of the availability of fund so that they will have no problems later. I understand how the organizers felt about this, very embarassed, but I also understand the “rage” of the participants.

Right now I am designing a mini-SEO contest and I am raising funds for it. Actually I have the funds already but I want more to add on the prize to make it very lucrative so that participants will be attracted to join the contest. I have announced it already in my new personal blog and I will introduce it here officially when I released it on the web. My plan is that I will wait until the Cebu Seo Contest finished before I start my own contest.

Hope that SEO practitioners, NOOB and experts, join the said competition. It will be my pleasure. 

Cebu SEO Contest

Cebu SEO Contest is a local search engine optimization contest from PHBlogger.net. It is a competition between Filipino SE Optimizers only and offers a free domain and hosting accounts plus entrecards as reward for those who can manage to reach the top one of result pages of Google.com. Many of Capiz bloggers participated on the said challenge and actually they were only students in a certain private school in Roxas City, Capiz. These students do have a potential in SEO and I guess they have a big possibility to win the said competition. Bleuken also participated but he thinks that he will not get this one this time because he was not able to start it as early as possible. Time  is a big factor for this kind of challenge and being late for the registration and post entry, the participating website of bleuken will surely lost its position.

However, even this is the case bleuken will still try to optimize his entry on Cebu Seo Contest. He will not stop until he learn SEO by heart and improve his skills. Good luck to you bleu!

SEO Contest 2008: Kabonfootprint

Busby SEO Challenge is about to come to its end as the day comes. Winners are becoming more clearer each day and the position from top one to ten seems not moving. The leaders are not leaving their tight grip on the ranks. There’s no symptoms of  instability but a visibly strength. As it’s about to exit the limelight of the SEO world (which is by August 31) another challenge had begun. Yes everyone another world wide SEO contest was announced last August 1.

I’m referring to the the contest from UK Webmasterworld, the version 2 of SEOContest2008. The target keyword right now is the word: kabonfootprint its a new word needed to be optimized on your websites.It’s different from the Busby SEO Challenge because kabonfootprint keyword challenge requires participants to have a new website with no cache or backlinks. The hard part of the contest is you will be fighting against kabonfootprint.com, .net, .info and the previous champions of SEO. This will be very hard for me and for other opponent who  can’t affort to have a new domain for the said contest. But still my friend will be very willing to participate and this will be taken as another challenge for him. SEO masters from different continent (Asia, Europe, America, etc.) will be expected to join this SEO event. Do you know why companies are fond of conducting contest like this kabonfootprint and Busby SEO Challenge? One primary reason is this is a good way of promoting SEO in the world while promoting their own websites. Providing a permanent and strong backlinks that will leave them a great edge against their competitors of the same field. Actually this kind of contest exists for several years from now. Even in the Philippines we have this Bayanihan SEO Contest from SEO Philippines and mini-SEO contest like of Macuha and Pinoy Money Talk. It’s a good and easy investment compare to manual promotion of a website.
